Paris, 1 September 2026 – BCTG announces the arrival of Aurélia Damas as a Partner to establish the firm’s Corporate and Executive Tax practice. She joins the firm together with Isabelle Chauvet, Of Counsel, and Camille Carlier, Associate. This appointment forms part of the firm’s development strategy and further strengthens the expertise of its teams.

A tax lawyer, Aurélia Damas has been advising French and international clients on a wide range of tax matters for nearly ten years.

She focuses primarily on advising companies, in particular multinational groups and LBO-backed groups. She works closely with finance departments on their day-to-day corporate and international tax matters. Her expertise includes transfer pricing, restructurings and the tax structuring of international operations.

The team also advises executives of mid-sized companies, SMEs and start-ups on the structuring of their investments, the implementation of management packages, as well as reorganisation, disposal and transfer transactions.

She also represents her clients in connection with searches, tax audits and tax disputes.

Biographical information:

After studying at Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas, including a one-year exchange at the University of Birmingham, Aurélia Damas specialised in international taxation by completing the Master 2 in International Taxation at Paris II – HEC. She began her career at Stehlin & Associés before moving to Everlaw & Tax and then joining Ginestié in 2023 alongside Vincent Renoux, where she was promoted to Counsel a few months later.

A graduate of emlyon business school’s Grande École Programme, during which she completed an exchange at East China Normal University in Shanghai, and of the Master 2 in Advanced Business Law at Université Jean Moulin Lyon III, Camille Carlier began her career at Everlaw & Tax, following an internship with Baker McKenzie’s Tax Litigation team. She joined Ginestié in 2023.

After beginning her career at White & Case, Isabelle Chauvet joined Shearman & Sterling, where she practised for fifteen years, including seven years as a Partner. She then joined Orrick Rambaud Martel as Partner in charge of the Paris Tax practice, before practising as an independent lawyer and joining Ginestié in 2022 as Partner in charge of the Tax department.
