Claire Stein joins the firm as Counsel to strengthen the banking, financial, and insurance regulatory practice alongside Antoine Beauquier and Silvia Lepel.
In her previous roles at FTMS Avocats and then Bredin Prat, Claire advised companies on both an advisory and litigation basis. She provides day-to-day support to French and foreign companies on all issues related to the regulatory framework applicable to their activities, as well as in their relations and dealings with supervisory authorities.
Claire has forged strong ties with Asia, particularly Japan. She is a member of the board of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA).
Her arrival is a significant boost for BCTG:
“Claire’s arrival is a strategic step in strengthening our practice in banking, financial, and insurance regulation. Her mastery of the regulatory framework applicable to players in the financial sector enables us to support our clients with even greater foresight and technical expertise,“ says Antoine Beauquier, partner in charge of the Banking practice.
”Her arrival is fully in line with the international dimension of the firm’s cases and clients, and will notably enable us to consolidate our ties with Japan,” adds Séverin Kullmann, partner in M&A Private Equity.
“Joining BCTG was an obvious choice given our shared values. My ambition is to combine my litigation practice with my experience in banking law and financial and insurance regulation for the benefit of our clients,” says Claire Stein.
