
Paris, August 28, 2024. BCTG Avocats advised the Norwegian group Yara, a giant in the production and marketing of high-end fertilizers, on the sale of its subsidiary Yara Cote d’Ivoire to the ETG group.
The Yara Group has officially announced the sale of its subsidiary Yara Cote d’Ivoire to the ETG Group, a global player in the food industry, marking a key stage in the reorientation of its strategy in Africa.
This sale is part of the 2030 Africa Food Systems Transformation strategy initiated by the Yara Group, which consists of resizing the Yara Group’s geographical footprint in Africa while concentrating its efforts on key markets and strategic growth segments.
BCTG Avocats, a specialist in transactions in Africa, provided its expertise during this operation with a team composed of partner Augustin Nicolle and associate Pierre de Kerpoisson.
