BCTG Avocats is pleased to announce that on 1 April 2021 Alizée Elkouby and Cyprien Dufournier  were promoted to counsel in the Employment Law and Corporate and Business Litigation Departments, respectively.

Alizée practices in the Employment Law department, which is headed by Sabine de Paillerets. She advises French and international companies on all aspects of individual labour relations with their employees, as well as in connection with their collective relations with the employees’ elected representatives. The promotion of Alizée to counsel confirms the firm’s aim to offer its clients ever more innovative solutions that combine a cross-disciplinary approach to HR issues and customised assistance in employment law matters. In the Employment Law department, Alizée will focus on three main areas: preventing and managing psychosocial and ethical risks in the workplace, managing the departure of executives or senior managers and preparing their future, and the new challenges of labour law and digital technology.

Cyprien specialises in corporate law and primarily advises the firm’s clients on their corporate activities. Alongside Augustin Nicolle and Clément Sabatier, Cyprien’s practice focuses on providing advisory services on corporate and general business law issues, mergers and acquisitions of assets or companies, and private equity. Together with the partners in the department, Cyprien is responsible for raising the firm’s visibility among start-ups and venture capital funds. He is one of key players in the agreement between the firm and Réseau Entreprendre Paris, a leader in providing support for business creation and takeover projects.

These appointments confirm the policy of BCTG Avocats and its partners to promote the talent within its ranks and to support associates’ career development projects. The firm now has three counsels.
