Clément Sabatier, a partner in the Business Litigation department, answered the questions of “Option Finance” magazine on the issue of: “Disputes: How to protect your contract with a State.”

The overwhelming power of States in business matters was recently demonstrated by the sudden termination, at the initiative of the British and Australian governments, of contracts that had been entered into with French groups. Nevertheless, companies have contractual tools to protect themselves financially.
