Eight years after joining the firm as an associate, François Dauba has been promoted to partner in BCTG Avocats’ Competition and Distribution department.

This promotion is the culmination of a career that has been carefully planned and long prepared by the lawyer, who was appointed counsel in July 2019, and by the firm’s partners.

François is a very active member of the Competition and Distribution department. For many years, he has participated with dedication and energy in developing its activities and enhancing its technical skills.

François practices in the field of economic law (competition, distribution, contracts, consumer law). Alongside Hugues Villey-Desmeserets, he has structured and developed BCTG Avocats’ offering in the health and food sectors.

In the context of the health crisis, these particularly dynamic sectors are facing new challenges that require in-depth knowledge of their specificities.

In the health field, François represents laboratories and research centres, as well as start-ups, and advises them on the day-to-day regulatory, contractual and competitive issues they face, as well as on cutting-edge topics such as connected health.

François also works on behalf of numerous players in the food industry and has created an offering within the Competition and Distribution department dedicated to suppliers, producers, cooperatives and syndicates that specialise in organic products and food supplements, and which has become a growth driver for the department.
