Isabelle Chauvet is Of Counsel at the firm since September 2026.

After beginning her career at White & Case, she joined Shearman & Sterling, where she practised for fifteen years, including seven years as a partner. She then joined Orrick Rambaud Martel as partner in charge of the Paris tax practice before practising independently, while also joining Ginestié in 2022 as partner heading the Tax Department.

She advises French and international listed and unlisted companies, investment funds, financial institutions, executives and private clients on a broad range of tax matters.

Her practice focuses primarily on the tax aspects of private equity, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and financing transactions. She also advises companies in their dealings with the French tax authorities and represents them in tax audits and tax litigation. In addition, she advises private clients on wealth tax matters, including in relation to trusts.
